The ‘5 Minute Strategic Mindset’ is read by thousands each week around the globe. Andrew wrote the definitive book on public value strategy, was named Global Consultant of the Year in 2019, and pioneered ‘Strategy on a Page’ – the tool his clients use to carry strategy through hundreds of organisations.
The business is Andrew – and every project starts with a client deciding he’s the one, usually from a conversation or a referral. Every one of them had to meet him first.
Time was the constraint.
Strategy
The client was a strategist. Every choice would be reviewed by someone who makes these choices for a living.
The job was compression, and structuring the information – Andrew’s life’s work captured at its essence, in his own words – then structured to take a prospective client through everything they need to know before they can commit, finishing by provoking them to act.
People who watch it and resonate call. People who don’t, don’t.
Action
I first listened, then synthesised, structured and scripted Andrew’s life’s work into a nine-minute video we captured using a teleprompter, with a series of Q&A insights alongside it.
We built these into a video platform, and I wrote the companion document and the client engagement loop for his team to use.
Then, over time, the system got simpler. We turned the platform off and placed a handful of the key videos where they do the work: two on his homepage, the rest on a dedicated website page.

Outcome
Years on, the videos are still working. People call and open with: “Hi Andrew – we’ve watched the videos on your website, and we want to hire you.”
The client arrives knowing how he thinks. The first meeting starts further along.
If your business is your expertise, and every client has to meet you to get it – I can help you identify the inflection points that matter, and what to do with them.
